When it rains, it pours!

After years of no new releases, I’m releasing two books within two weeks! I’ve lost my mind haha! $2 off in the first week for all my fans. Truly losing my mind! Quick, purchase it here before I come to my senses! Lock in your pre-order copy here and you will get it as soon as it comes out tomorrow!!!

Now this novel, The Spring I Turned Ugly, is my first genre switcher, but not the last, as I love writing lots of different time periods and themes. This is a coming-of-age, new adult novel, exploring the difficulties of the emerging adult phase with a good amount of humor for all ages. It is a unique story of how those in the later stages of life can truly guide those just figuring out who they are and what they want.

Here is the back cover blurb:

The Spring I Turned Ugly is best described as a modern Steel Magnolias meets American Bridget Jones’s Diary meets The Devil Wears Prada. However, it’s the complete opposite of The Summer I Turned Pretty, since Kiera Starlow hits a snag in life, when everything seems to fall apart the spring of her twenty-third year.

After a shocking breakup with Bodhi, whom she’s known since she was fifteen, Kiera’s world seemed to halt and she did all she could to try to adapt to a much different plan without Bodhi.

However, things only get worse when Bodhi reappears, seemingly wanting her back, four months later just as a humiliating, pinnacle event at work occurs. Kiera’s pushed to go on a nine-day free trip to France, but the hitch is, it’s with five old ladies.

It’s not the new job in New York City (as difficult as that turns out to be), or losing twenty pounds, nor the trip to France that changes Kiera’s life like she thought. It’s the wisdom of five older, exuberant women that puts her back on track.

Sometimes life gives you ugly and, sometimes, it’s when you feel the worst that the story truly begins.

So, just as I offered with my last weeks new release, Heir Unapparent (if you haven’t grabbed up a copy of that yet you can get it here), I have a fantastic giveaway for this novel as well. Be one of the first twenty to leave an honest review on Amazon then copy and paste it on this post in the comments with your full name, then I will pick at random the person I will send, not only all four print copies of The Infinite Series (Infinite Sacrifice, Infinite Devotion, Infinite Loss, and Infinite Faith), but my new historical fiction novel, Heir Unapparent, as well (value over $66)!

Yes! It’s true! My new book, Heir Unapparent, is out today (at least on Amazon, hopefully more sites too)! You can purchase it on Amazon here. It has been discounted from $9.99 to $7.99 for all my amazing readers who follow me for a few days as a thank you, so grab it up! Just in time for the sleepy end of summer.

This is NOT the next installment in The Infinite Series (although I’m more than halfway done with the next installment, Infinite Enigma) this is a completely different story and a stand alone. I happened upon the idea for this historical fiction novel when I was researching book 5 and the idea just took over. If you liked all the research and separate historical vignettes in The Infinite Series, then I think you will enjoy this story as well.

Here is the back cover blurb:

HEIR UNAPPARENT begins with a grave unearthed on a Spanish battlefield by archaeologist, Professor Declan. She’s excited to see a figure in full plate armor, dating to the mid-fourteenth century. However, she’s even more shocked to find a medieval journal in surprisingly good condition that attempts to explain the unusual circumstances of the Englishman in that grave. It reveals the long-held secret that the author of the journal, Lord Lyon Bailey, was actually born female. This ignites an obsession of getting to know everything Professor Declan can about Lord Lyon Bailey, by immersing herself in that bygone world of beauty, murder, secrecy, illusion, friendship, and love.

Professor Declan won’t stop until she finds all the answers.

I really am proud of this novel and would love to hear from you all what you think about it, so for a fun giveaway I will put the first twenty reviews left on Amazon for Heir Unapparent into a giveaway for all four paperback copies of The Infinite Series for your book shelves! The value of this set of Infinite Sacrifice, Infinite Devotion, Infinite Loss, and Infinite Faith is a $50 dollar value!!!!

So please leave an honest review for Heir Unapparent and then copy that review and post it on the comments here with your full name. Once the reviews for Heir Unapparent reach twenty, then I will put all the names in a hat and let my 5-year-old pick who gets the paperback series sent to their house! I will reply on that person’s comment to notify them and have them send me their address privately to my email.

You won’t believe it, but I have another novel that will publish close on Heir Unapparent‘s heels. This one is not historical fiction but a really fun, coming of age, new adult novel that wrote itself in a matter of weeks. I’ll post more on that and another giveaway next week!
